Montenegro is a small and beautiful state of the Southern Mediterranean. The places you must visit are: the old town of Kotor, listed as the UNESCO’s world heritage site, Boka Kotorska (Bay of Kotor) - some say the Europe’s most beautiful fjord where the Adriatic Sea cuts deep into the mountains, with a small ancient town of Perast and its islets, the old town of Budva - very well preserved old town, Sveti Stefan – in the old age it was a fishermen’s island, later turned into a luxury hotel, Ulcinj – it used to be a pirate’s town, Bar -a town with great historical monuments, but also a modern marina and Herceg Novi - rich with towers and beautiful architecture.
